Desiree is such a warm & comforting presence. As soon as she arrived to photograph my family, she jumped right into the chaos, which is no small feat with my family of 7. She thoughtfully was able to create timeless images that we will cherish forever. There is an ease to working with Desiree - from my husband, to my teenage sons down to my littlest 5 year old with the dogs running amok - she seamlessly fit right in. As a photographer, it’s always interesting to see how others perceive and capture my family. How wonderful to have pictures that include me as well! Desiree delivered such beautiful moments - images I’ve never created myself. I am forever grateful to her for such a fun & relaxed experience with high quality photos to last me a lifetime.

Working with Desiree was such a great experience. From the first phone call when we talked about our family and the types of photos we wanted to the photoshoot and making our album, she listened and completely understood what we were after. During the photoshoot in our home Desiree was so skilled at stepping back to let us have "normal family time" for her to capture, and she put us all at ease. Once we saw the photos we were totally in love with her work. She captured every day moments in such a lovely way. Her photos feel natural and beautiful and are a great way to document those moments at home that are so integral to our family life but don't often make it into photos.

Desiree is an incredible photographer who always puts me at ease! We had a few shoots with her over the years (newborn and family shoot) before taking the plunge and doing a Day in the Life!! SHE WAS AMAZING!! She captured all these little moments that I didn’t even know my family was having!! My kids snuggling, my husband cooking, brushing my daughters hair in the morning. I always loved the natural way Desiree took photos of our family playing in the park, but being cozy in our home took the intimacy of the photos to another level. I’m so appreciative of Desiree for capturing these moment for us!!
